Meditation Tip – 368 – Sensory ability Try to notice today in your own experience that using your senses isnt something that you do, its something that happens without your doing. Awareness is just needed. The you thats trying to do is actually hindering the process of sensing. Your vision, feel, taste, smell, and hearing all are happening and the deeper awareness of the happening, the greater the ability to sense. Total surrender of you is needed. Just like with anything else though, we humans try to bring in our control into sensing and in turn add strain to the process- leaving the ability to sense much more limited than is possible. We try to know everything with the mind by dissecting, analzying, comparing, and controlling things rather then just observing all that is and learning from intelligence. Start being your own test dummy in life and see how you work by seeking truth in the matter from within rather then picking up distorted information from others (including me) Truth reveals itself when you become it, detach from what you are not and intelligence will guide You in all areas. Observe your senses and how they work outside of what the mind tells you. Go back to the beginning. Focus on each sense and just watch how it works, rather then thinking about it or using the mind to know. Observe life without your additions and truth reveals higher dimensions – such as extra sensory abilities. Meditation Tip – 367 – Life in, death out Try to notice today in your own experience that becoming conscious of the happening of the breath can show you many amazing things. Its especially a powerful tool to notice life coming in and death going out. When you consciously take a breath in, focus on the fact that its coming into you and its allowing life to happen. Let it flood the body totally, dont resist any area. This is life and its happening for you every second. Do the same thing with the breath out, but this time focus that each exhale is death. Its removing all the old, used up life out of you. Here focus on allowing all that is not needed to be removed, thus allowing space for new life to keep entering on the inhale. Imagine this image of trying to hold one breath forever, and not allowing it to leave because you are scared of what will happen if you do. Well this is the same type of game your mind is tricking you with into believing that if you let go of the mind self (basically a breath your clinging to all your life), then you wont exist. This is obviously not true in the same way that if you do let go of a breath, life (inhale) once again happens. What you currently are doing is basically holding on to death all your life instead of letting it go and being life. Meditation Tip 366 – Look at me Try to notice today in your own experience that when you live consumed by your mind and never touch truth, you will be one of these look at me people. You will try to use the outside world to feel worthy, and this is exactly why you openly or secretly need others to pay attention to you. This is a very unconscious way of living and it will cause you extreme amounts of suffering as this look at me need will constantly have to be fulfilled by the outside world. Be honest with yourself and realize that we have just become this look at me society and we try to use any means necessary to get people to pay attention to us (lies are totally okay as well). If you still arent conviced just ask yourself what the hell this instagram and other social channels are… Look at me, like me, friend me, love me, etc. This is all nice to be able to connect on one level, but many people's lives today are based on these social platforms and what others think of them in whatever they do. It consumes all their time here on earth and this is all because they have never put the effort to look within and realize that worth isnt gained from outside, its from realizing who you really are outside of your mind. If you are consumed, dont get mad at yourself, just take a step back and see from a higher picture what is going on. Start meditating/contemplating/questioning. Start facing yourself and get comfortable being alone because like it or not, this look at me thing wont make you feel worthy even if 1 billion people will look at you. This is a mind thing and the mind is never satisfied. Go beyond the mind, find truth and then do what you love from your authenticity. Meditation Tip 365 – Dark Meditation Try to notice today in your own experience that if your like most people (mind consumed) then being in darkness by yourself with no distractions scares you. This is because you are scared of yourself (the mind) If you dont believe or if you already know, still go and have a face off… Find a totally dark room, bathroom usually works well as it has no windows. Make sure its complete darkness and dont bring your phone. Then sit and just observe what happens for at least 5-10 minutes. Try with both your eyes open and closed. See what kind of nonsense your mind conjures up for you. The more mind consumed the more scared you will be, as the mind will use this time to try and get you to be caught up in its never-ending stories of falsehood. If you do this enough and if you started to contemplate who you are, and perhaps picked up a daily meditation habit, you will be able to start using this practice to detach from what is not real, and that is basically all that the mind says. Darkness isnt evil, your mind just spins it that way. Go into the darkeness and face yourself there, it will take courage but its super powerful if you are looking to grow. Tip: Stay totally in the present and focus on the sensations floating around experienced by the senses, dont get caught in the images and words the mind constantly will bring forth for you to be scared of. Meditation Tip 364 – Cravings Try to notice today in your own experience that one of the ways the mind keeps control, keeps you unconscious is by cravings. It does this by giving you a little dose. First by showing thoughts and then by linking them with emotions for a moment and sees if you take the bate. If you dont, it ups the dose or waits for another moment when you're more easily taken over. Such as when your tired, angry, frustrated, sad, etc. Think about chips here… You see a bag of chips and the mind tempts you with how good they will taste and feel. Some people take this bate instantly, some can resist for a bit. If you cant resist, you have one, which leads to more and more. If you can resist, the mind waits for another opportunity as mentioned above and the same fate occurs later. After the craving has been satisfied, you wake up and realize what happened. Usually upset and feeling shitty because satisfying this craving has lead to falling into unconsciousness and doing things you didnt really want to. Imagine a zombie just being cool, walking around the city, doing its zombie acts, but once it sees a human and needs brains, the cravings start and then full out zombie mode kicks in. Once they feed and the craving is gone, they are turned back to normal. The key is awareness, just being able to spot this behaviour in your direct experience in real time is what you are ultimately aiming for. Dont get angry if you fall for your cravings, it will happen often, just work on becoming aware of the whole process (That's higher consciousness – seeing the total) This doesnt happen only with food obviously, its anything that is promised by your mind to satisfy you in the future. Meditatiom Tip 363 – Boredom Try to notice today in your own experience that boredom is a mind thing. Detach from the mind self and be free of boredom. The reason you get bored is because the mind constantly wants something to happen and usually always in new/different ways. A good example of this is with food. For the mind consumed, they constantly need different foods to eat or a different way to eat it or pair it with or a different restaurant to try. Just look at the grocery store and how items are constantly being marketed and remarked in so many different ways because the mind gets bored and people wouldnt buy them. When you start connecting to your fundamental nature which resides outside of the mind, you see that things are so freaken amazing naturally, that being bored isnt even an option. Each second billions of new things are happening right there in front of you, but one cant see it or be aware of it, when they live in the mind. Every time you spend too much time in mind reality, you start getting bored quickly. When this happens, go into the boredom and face it rather then trying to escape it by constantly distracting yourself with the next new food, show, or whatever else you choose to distract yourself when your bored. During this boredom notice as well that you usually use that time in unconscious ways. Im by no means saying you cant enjoy new and different things, but just notice if the reason you are doing it, is because your consumed by your mind and are constantly bored in life.
