I have always been a little bit off, haha. So, when I started creating character designs for a kids social media website, I made them in Microsoft Word. Yes, the Microsoft Word that is made for writing, not designing.
It was mostly due to the fact that Microsoft Word was already on my computer, and I had some knowledge of it’s workings from school.
Eventually, I learned programs, like, Photoshop and Illustrator, and some Maya, but that was later.
Below are some of the characters that I made in Word. It’s nothing crazy, just some shapes, colours, and creativity.

I just wanted to share this post because i’ve heard a lot of excuses before from people in all sorts of domains, that they don’t have this or that, and this is why they cannot do something. Sometimes, you just have to use what you have because there are many ways to do things. Your way is fine too.
